i had the first test in 2009 today. Subject: Economics. If i told you the test was 15minutes long and there's no open-ended questions, only MCQ and true and false questions, i'm sure you'd think that it wouldn't be too hard. Haa for the complacency.
The questions were very tricky. sigh.. even MCQs and true and false questions could be hard.
Anyway there were 15 questions. For every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded and for every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. No marks is awarded for a blank answer. The base mark is 15. So if you attempted all and got one wrong, you'd get 13/15 but if you left one blank and got the rest correct you'd get 14/15! This also means that 4 wrong answers are sufficient to get u a 'fail' :) ARRGH.
Victoria was right.. if all questions were attempted and incorrect, one would get -15. On the other hand, if all are correct one would get 15! If that's the case the range of marks is from -15 to 15 and since the conventional passing mark is 50%, one can leave all blank and get 0 which still constitutes a pass :D
However, life is never fair. (proven by mr chen) oh wells. at most fail~

Just outside dhoby ghaut station. We first wanted to go sentosa but well the weather wasn't good enough so we took breakfast at a hawkercentre at harbourfront. Nice porridge! Then we ended up at dhoby ghaut's PC Bunk for 2hrs before arcading at zone x. After taking lunch we were off to MJ's house! Watched 28 weeks later, a sequel to 28 days later. Gory but with plot. Quite interesting actually! Then Nadia popped over and we watched ADVENT CHILDREN! whoo :D okay i really like the graphics and Cloud. NO i don't hate Tifa unlike
some ppl. tsktsk. haha i was quite lost throughout the show because i had never played the game before but i asked questions and they were answered!

MOst recently was NEL OUTING :DDDDDD
Kang lin and i packed band room while Nicholas Benjamin and Nicole went on their orientation dry run in the morning so we met in the afternoon~ Kang Lin and i reached early so we walked around Suntec commenting on stuff which felt damn nice. It's those kinda slackslack-in-your-own-world-heckcare-others feeling. We saw nice figurines, cuddly toys and exercised :)
Later we had dinner at yuki n yaki! How hilariously memorable! we created our own fried sushi, sunny side up with sausages as mould which turned into scrambled sausage egg, fried soup noodles even. And overflowed steamboat. And because they said 5dollars for every 100g excess food.. the food went to a lot of places.. -whispers- :O
So we walked about and saw a bag on the wall. Nicholas was the perfect height, hence the picture! haha!

Strangely nowadays i always seem to feel like puking after eating meals @_@ :( hate that feeling. but oh wells.

The post is hererere.
Ah so many events to catch up on again.
Anyway, despite being in an IP school, i still haveto take 'o' levels!! Yes i took my Higher Mother Tongue 'o' levels last month. It wasn't too bad! i felt that the paper was easier than my school's usual papers =O but i'm not saying that i'll do extremely well or anything since i'm not very good at my HCL @_@
okay then after that it was class chalet! Boy it was fun because we went on a 14-man-strong overnight bike hike!

Cycled from Downtown east to east coast park first by pavement and crossing loads of traffic lights @_@ But i'm amazed by how the guys actually know the route!

Although it's singapore, if i had to make my way there alone i don't know what i'd do. So we arrived at east coast at around 12plus and met geok fen! Zhi jie then went off because he was going on holiday and geok fen took his bike! We sat wearily at 24 hours Macs but no we didn't sleep! We entertained ourselves with glowsticks kindly provided by yixiang and ate. then around 3 plus a smaller group of us decided to pay a visit to Tg Rhu where our Dunman High campus is to see how the renovation is going. To our utter disappointment it was incomplete and it didn't look nice. Okay not like we could see very clearly because it was almost pitch black but still =/ so we cycled one round around the school via the new road and came out at Kampong arang that side and went back to east coast park. Oh the underpass was a little freaky haha. So we arrived back at macs and took out breakfast and left east coast at around 5. The journey back was so wonderful at the start! i learn that there were really nice places for biking and jogging at changi area. we also saw the sunrise! it was beautiful.

That afternoon we went wild wild wet and i felt so sleepy and dazed because of lack of sleep. I finally got a chance to take a short nap at around evening time but i could still hear noises in the background so it's more of half-sleeping. Anyway i counted.. i didn't sleep for 35hours :D record. Yup i know bad for health x_x
We had steamboat for dinner too but uh it wasn't very nice so i shan't talk about it. That night we came back to the chalet and started DDR-ing till 3plus am. Hoho then i was really a beat and slept till around 9plus the next morning.
Next.. Graduation night at St. James power station! Other schools have it at hotels while we have it at a pub lolol. Very different but it was an experience i guess ha. k lets get some photos..

HEY GUYS :D
Nope you're not seeing things because i have finally decided to post. Sorry if i have lost all my readers ( wait there's nothing much to be sorry about -.-) Well i shall just let this post do its job to attract readers again ohoho.
Anyway, according to my blog, i last posted on the August 23rd which is almost 2 months ago for it's 22nd October today. And just yesterday, Happy 16th Birthday Si Min! ^^ forgive me for getting my dates wrong. So during these incomplete 2months, stuff has happened. Some good some bad, the usual.
We celebrated teachers day in school and i felt that this was one of the more successful events organized by the school. Every class was to dress up in a movie theme and my class chose 'I not stupid' which meant that we all had to dress up as Primary school kids. Everyone looked really cute aha and i enjoy plaiting people's hair! Here's a group picture. Obviously some people seemed to be wearing clothes belonging to their opposite gender. xD (spot me? lol)
I guess the most prominent event would be e.o.y.s. I didn't fair very well. But not very bad either. I'm just really glad that it's over. Which also marks the ending of my secondary school life. How fast!
Well on the last day of exams, i went to Zhiyi's house for a sleepover! We spent most of the time in front of the tv aha. the next morning i was the first to wake up which is a plus point since i got to take pictures of everyone -evil grin- in their various sleeping positions. it was so funny. shall not post all cos itll be infringement of their personal rights so i'll just give an overview! ( btw yihsin slept only an hour. she's amazing)
Before exams, I also participated in the NUS Lab race with some of my classmates and managed to clinch a 3rd prize- trophy for out school! I was really really very happy! haha
A week or two ago, i went on a jobhunt with a couple of my classmates and so far went for training as a banquet waitress at Pan-pacific hotel. Haven't got my first pay yet though. The pay is around $6/hr which i find reasonable. However the job scope is extremely wide and it's tiring too. Have yet to settle next work-day.
Band has started as our exam period has ended. We are currently preparing for first ever senior hgih concert called "Sojourn I" at NAFA. Concert will be on 28th December 08. Please come listen to us :)Currently, we're also practicing for SYF next year in May ( apparently on the date of my mum's birthday even.) This time there's no longer the title 'Gold with Honours' so it's good and bad in a way because all we need to do is get 'Gold' but yet we will not know how good we really are. Oops a little bit of a paradox ahaha.
The 'O' levels have started and the one and only 'O' level paper i'm taking this year is the HCL one. It's on the 5th of november and i'm really hope i that i can do well. gogo!
Anyway, Vampire knight guilty is OUT. it's season2 of vampire knight. Story's getting really complex and sophisticated but still there's zero to look at! ( and i can't believe sk translated it to ji1 rou4. In chinese, hi name is ling2!) here's a stunning picture :D aww!
Recently, but not s recent anymore, i watching la Corda D'oro which i borrowed from nicholas and i went crazy over Hihara Kazuki. ahh he's just so adorable! Besides, he has a handsome brother haruki too! look!
Hihara has a great personality, if only he was real. aww aha. Here's a fanart in which he looks absolutely gorgeous, the latter is from the anime. He's just soo sweet.
